These spurs are made by the Crockett Bit and Spur Company 1920-1985. Spur maker Oscar Crocket is the company founder. These spurs were made during the time when the company was owned by fellow spur maker James Renalde in the mid 1950s. The Crocket Marking and location shows that this pair of spurs was made between 1943 and 1956. The company was located in Boulder Colorado.

E. Garcia is a Contemporary Spur maker out of San Ysidro California, stamped E Garcia. These spurs were custom made for Spur Collector Paul Guthner with his brand –V (Bar V) Inlayed on the side. They are very flashy

Roy Best was the Warden at the Canyon City Colorado
State Penitentiary and played himself in the movie "Canyon City" (1948) Semi-Documentary Film About Colorado Prison Break. These spurs may have been custom made by inmates at the Colorado State Penitentiary.
