Bruce Dines is a representational painter in watercolors of geese, ducks, and upland game birds. His motivation is to share his love of the outdoors with others.
Dines served as an artist for the Air Force during World War Two, and then in 1948 earned a BFA in commercial art and design from the University of Denver. He worked as a bank official until 1979, when he became a full time painter. A founder of Trout Unlimited, he also served as a Trustee, for the National park Foundation Board and Denver Museum of National History.
